Customer Services Advisers

We have a variety of temporary and permanent part time positions available.

FTE Salary £20,619 - £22,984 per annum, Grade 3 (pro rata for part time staff) plus a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme .

Due to internal promotion, and department growth, we are excited to be seeking Customer Services Advisers to join the team. We are looking for a strong understanding of the provision of excellent customer service, with particular regard to front line customer service and a focus on ensuring our customers receive sensitive, timely, efficient and courteous assistance. You will be working to ensure that all enquiries are resolved by the Customer Services team, either at the first point of contact, or where necessary ensuring enquiries are referred on to an appropriate specialist, and are recorded and followed up, ensuring service standards are achieved and that confidentiality is respected at all times.

You will be regularly undertaking reception duties as part of the Customer Services responsibility for our reception service. You will need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent including Maths and English and have an NVQ in customer care or similar or equivalent experience.

Housing Operations Manager

Permanent – 37 hours per week

£37,070 - £40,451 per annum (Grade 7) plus a range of benefits, including contributory pension scheme, and private health care.

The Housing Operations Manager will ensure the delivery of excellent Tenancy Management functions including the timely allocation of empty properties, the processing of mutual exchange applications within statutory deadlines, applications for successions and assignments and dealing with abandoned properties. As well as this you will ensure that operational performance remains high and improves and that Housing services are shaped to meet customer’s priorities and that customers have opportunities to influence service.

The ideal candidate must have strong operational experience of working in social housing, project management skills and experience of staff management. A thorough knowledge of legislation, regulation, policy and best practice in housing management is essential.

Interviews will be held Monday 20th November 2017, with candidates being asked to make a presentation to our Residents panel, on a separate occasion,  prior to this date

Permanent, 37 hours per week

Salary: £28,490 - £31,574 per annum (Grade 5)

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, busy and professional team responsible for providing a first class repairs and voids service to our valued customers.  The role, of Surveyor, is to assist in providing an effective, efficient and economic delivery of surveying services in relation to stock condition surveys.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a relevant housing or building organisation and be educated to HND level, or have an equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline. A good understanding of current Health and Safety Legislation is essential. Applicants require a full driving license and access to their own transport.
